RICHARD B. RANSFORD Licensed Funeral Director, Manager Dick is a lifelong Caro resident, graduating from Caro High School in 1957. He graduated from Wayne State University with a degree in Mortuary Science in 1961, and also earned a Biology degree from Central Michigan University. Dick served in the U.S. Army from 1962 to 1964 at Walter Reed Medical Center at the Institute of Research in Washington, D.C. as a research micro-biologist with assignments in Viet Nam and various Army Basic Training Centers in the United States. Dick is a member and past president of the Caro Rotary Club, a retired director of Chemical Bank and Trust, and a former President and Trustee of the Caro Village Council. He is also a longtime member of the Caro D.D.A. and a charter member and past president of the Executive Board for the Tuscola County Community Foundation. |

MARK RANSFORD, CFSP Licensed Funeral Director Mark is a 1998 Graduate of Caro High School, and a 2002 graduate of the University of Michigan with degrees in Business Administration and Psychology. He went on to study Mortuary Science at Wayne State University where he also received a graduate degree in Forensic Investigation. He and his wife, Lainey, were married in 2004 and have been blessed with two sons, Ethan and Cameron. Mark is a member of several civic groups, a board member of the Caro Chamber of Commerce and a past president of Michigan Funeral Directors Association District 7. Mark has also taught Professional Ethics at Davenport University and coached the Caro Tiger Sharks Swim Club for several years. |

SUE RANSFORD Family Services Coordinator Sue was born and raised in Saginaw, Michigan. She was a Registered X-ray Technologist in Saginaw for many years before moving to Caro with her husband, Richard Ransford, in 1972. She contracted with the State of Michigan to operate the Caro Regional Center X-ray department for the next twenty years. Sue retired from the Caro Regional Center in 1995 to join her husband at the Ransford Funeral Home as a Family Services Coordinator. She is a founding member of the Tuscola County Community Foundation and has been a trustee of the Caro Area District Library for over 25 years, presently serving as the president of the board. Sue is a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Caro. She and Dick love spending time with their two children and five grandchildren. |

THERESA MICKLASH Associate Theresa’s roots have always been in the thumb area of Michigan, growing up as part of a large family in the Bad Axe area. She currently lives with her husband, Ken, in Cass City. They have been married for over thirty-nine years and are blessed with three married children and two granddaughters. Theresa spent over twenty years working in the dental field before coming to the Ransford Funeral Home in 2008. When time allows, Theresa and her husband enjoy camping, hiking and traveling to spend time with their family. She is a member of St. Pancratius Catholic Church in Cass City and very active in many community activities within Tuscola County. She is an avid supporter of the Tuscola County Community Foundation and works diligently to advance the causes of the Cass City H.O.P.E. Fund, which assists families who are caring for children afflicted with cancer. |

MICHELE HILE Pre-need Funeral Consultant Michele is a longtime area educator, having taught over thirty years, and continues her service to the community by assisting people interested in making funeral arrangements before the need arises. Michele is a lifelong area resident and a 1968 graduate of Caro High School. She received her Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts degrees from Michigan State University. In addition to being a teacher, Michele is a certified water aerobics instructor. She is an active member of the Watrousville United Methodist Church and an interfaith minister with the Universal Brotherhood Movement, Inc. She has served the community on many boards and is currently the Luminaria Chairperson for the Tuscola County Relay for Life. Michele lives near Caro with her husband, Tom, and she is an active part of their family farming operation. |

CHUCK SPAULDING Associate Chuck has been a lifetime resident of Caro and graduated from Caro High School in 1953. He attended Northeastern School of Commerce in Bay City and earned an Associates Degree in Business Administration. He was married to Lois Brigham in 1958 and they have been blessed with four children: Amy and her husband William of Caro, Eric of Saginaw, Ryan and his wife Ashley of Prairie Village, Kansas and Beth Everts of Saginaw. Chuck and Lois also have one grandchild, Nolan Everts of Saginaw. Chuck has been employed in various areas of sales, marketing and retail store management. He owned and operated ladies clothing stores in Caro and Bay City for 14 years in the 1960’s and 1970’s. He was later employed by the Village of Caro in the office of Clerk/Treasurer from 1976 until his retirement in 2000. Chuck has been with the Ransford Funeral Home since March of 2004. |

DAVE KLEBBA Associate Dave was born in Parisville, Michigan and grew up on a farm in the Ubly Area. He graduated from Ubly High School in 1963 and began work at Pontiac Motor Division shortly after. Dave moved to Caro in 1972 with his wife, Donna, and their two children, Robin and Craig. He retired from Delphi in 1996 and has operated a lawn care service in Caro for the last twenty years. Dave enjoys hunting, golfing and bowling and is a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Caro as well as the Knights of Columbus Council #3224. |
