Belle Grubert, age 88, passed away peacefully Monday, October 16, 2006 at Northwood Meadows in Cass City, following a lingering illness. Belle was born July 30, 1918 in Sicklerville, New Jersey, the daughter of the late Charles Mabel (Brown) Andrew. She was married to Rohland Rennebaum and later Wilbur Grubert. They both preceded her in death. For many years, Belle owned and operated the Black Horse Answering Service in Blackwood, NJ. Belle is a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Caro and a former member of Luther Memorial Lutheran Church in Blackwood, NJ. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and reading. Belle lived in New Jersey most of her life, moving to Caro in 1991 to live with her daughter. Belle is survived by her daughter and husband, Mabel Rev. David Hollender of Caro; four step children, including a special stepson and his wife, Bill Mary Grubert of Blackwood, NJ; three granddaughters and their husbands, Paula Tim Lindhorst of St. Cloud, MN, Priscilla Jim Turner of Sylvania, OH, Miriam Jim Nieman of Durham, NC; seven step-grandchildren that include Bryan, Shaun and Denise Grubert; nine great-grandchildren, Vera and Luke Lindhorst, Rachel, Nathaniel, Zachary and Benjamin Turner, Samantha and Abigail Nieman and Belle Grubert; one brother and his wife, Howard AnnaMae Andrew of Sicklerville, NJ and several nieces and nephews.
