Frances Grace Putman, age 71 years of Caro, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2005, at St. Marys of Michigan in Saginaw. She was born on March 29, 1934, in Caro. The former Frances VanAntwerp married Paul E. Hillaker in December of 1953. He preceded her in death in January of 1957. She then married Norris J. Putman on August 15, 1959, and he also preceded her in June of 1985. In early years, Frances had worked at Elsies Restaurant, the Caro Egg Station and in Port Huron doing catering. Her greatest joy was being a homemaker. She loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren very much. She is survived by her children, Paul E. (Kelly) Hillaker, Jr. of Caro, Kaylee G. (Troy) Hawley of Caro, James E. Putman of Caro, Rick J. (Jeanne) Putman of Caro, Peggy Matthews of Caro; eleven grandchildren, Joshua, Anthony, Sara, James, Shannon L., Kristal, Steven, Shannon M., Amanda, Kenny and Willie; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Ernest (Peggy) Simmons of Florida; two step-sisters; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her two husbands, she was also preceded in death by one daughter, Pam Drake; and a brother, Paul Montague. The funeral service will be held: AT: Restoration Outreach Center in Caro ON: Thursday, November 10, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. WITH: Apostle Jerome Bouverette, Officiating Following cremation, burial will be: AT: Indianfields Township Cemetery Visitation will be: AT: Restoration Outreach Center in Caro ON: Thursday, November 10, 2005, from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Frances Putman family discretionary fund, c/o Kaylee Hawley.
