Gary Graves

Gary Allen Graves of Sebewaing, age 48, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, August 29, 2009 following a courageous battle with cancer. Gary was born March 23, 1961 in Caro, the son of Robert Graves, Jr. and Ginger (Fader) Graves. He was a self-employed carpenter and handyman in the area until he was forced to retire due to disability in March of this year. Garys passion in life was fishing, an activity he learned to appreciate early in his life. Gary is survived by his fiance, Misty Myers; his son, Gary Graves, Jr.; his mother, Ginger and her husband, Ron Gibbs of Caro; one sister and her husband, Shelley & Randy Heckroth of Caro; one half-sister; two half-brothers and their spouses, Peggy Matthews of Caro, Rick & Jeannie Putman of Caro, Ron & Mary Graves of Caro. Gary was preceded in death by his father, Robert Graves, Jr.; one brother, Dave Graves; half-brother, James Graves; and nephew, Brian Goslin.
