Henry Hall

Henry C. Hall, Jr. of Caro, age 87, passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at the Lighthouse Residential Home in Caro. He was born January 25, 1925 in Detroit and lived most of his adult life there as a contractor for the City of Detroit for house demolition. Henry was united in marriage with the former Maxine Johnson in 1948 in Detroit. She preceded him in death on March 20, 2004, the result of injuries received in an auto accident. Henry enjoyed being with his two sons in all types of activities and showing them all kinds of skills. In 1946, Henry was awarded the U.S Saddle Bronco Championship in Madison Square Garden in New York City. Henry is survived by one son and his wife, Henry C. & Clara Hall, III of Mayville. In addition to his parents and wife, Henry was preceded in death by one son, George Hall and his six sisters and their husbands. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro. Burial will follow at Dayton Center Cemetery.
