John Harroun

John Howard Harroun, age 57, of Caro passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at his sisters home in Caro after a short illness. John was born on January 29, 1952 in Pontiac, Michigan. John was employed by the Village of Caro until his disability. He had a passion and love for his cars, and enjoyed classic car restoration. He also enjoyed gardening. He is survived by his mother, Ina Harroun of Caro; his father, Charles (Betty) Harroun of Caro; one brother, two sisters, and their spouses, Lorene (Gary) Kennedy of Caro, David (Mary) Harroun of Columbiaville and Holly (Ron) Hamill of Shelby; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at the Collon Funeral Home in Caro on Saturday, February 28, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Damian Wrobel officiating. Burial will be at Almer Township Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Collon Funeral Home on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Memorials may be made to the John Harroun family discretionary fund, c/o Lorene Kennedy.
