Lelia Kitchen of Gladwin, formerly of Caro, age 90, passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at Heavenly Homestead Adult Foster Care in Gladwin. She was born March 23, 1924 in Oxford, the daughter of the late Leo and Mildred (Randall) Reamer. Lelia was employed at Wayne County General Hospital for twenty years, retiring in 1984. She was a member of the Caro VFW Auxiliary, and enjoyed crocheting and traveling the country. She is survived by one son, Gerald Kitchen of Gladwin; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Vernitta Robison; and two brothers, Ivan and Melvin Reamer. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 17, 2015 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro with Rev. Gregg Mayberry officiating. The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association.
