Lorraine Charvat

Lorraine Elizabeth Charvat, age 87, passed away Monday, July 14, 2008 at the Tuscola County Medical Care Facility, following a period of declining health. Lorraine was born February 9, 1921 in Fraser, Michigan, the daughter of the late Charles & Elsie (Heisner) Charvat. She was employed at Hoffbrau in Fraser for many years, retiring in 1986. Lorraine was a member of Providence Church in Caro and will be best remembered for her love of children, animals and gardening. Lorraine is survived by two godchildren, Peggy Darwin and Kenneth Zimmerman; cousins, Virginia Zimmerman, Roy Heisner, Bud Charvat, James (Pat) Beier, Eva Schans, Myra (Bob) Smalley; spiritual guide and friend, Rev. David Bostrom and his family, as well as her Providence Church family; and her many friends and good neighbors that included the Messing family.
