Margaret Cody

Margaret J. Cody, age 92, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2012 at the Tuscola County Medical Care Facility in Caro, following a period of declining health. The former Margaret J. Nagy was born December 4, 1919 on the family farm in Fairgrove, the daughter of the late Julius & Mary (Wagner) Nagy. She worked in various places throughout her lifetime, including several area restaurants as a cook, the Collon Funeral Home as a greeter, and also the Tuscola County Medical Care Facility where she served as a nurses aide until her retirement in 1985. Margaret had a kind spirit and enjoyed volunteering to help others, and was a regular at the Caro VFW Post where she would cook during Bingo games. She also enjoyed knitting, crocheting, quilting and sharing time with people. Margaret is survived by four children and their spouses, Nancy & Christopher Zemke of Deford, Ed Cody and his fianc
