Marvin Grzebski

Marvin J. Grzebski, age 75 years, of Cass City, passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2007 at Tendercare, Cass City. He was born on April 20, 1931 in Detroit to Frank and Louise (Lemanski) Grzebski, and came to Tuscola County as a child. He moved to Centerline in the 60s, living there until the 80s, and returned. He attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church where he worshiped faithfully. In addition to his church life, he enjoyed people, jigsaw puzzles, and his life in the country. He is survived by his siblings, Helen Stachura of Cass City, Delphine Peters of Troy, Sharon and Ludwig Bednar of Silver Springs, Maryland; and a niece, Georgia Bednar of Silver Springs, Maryland. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, John Stachura. The Funeral Liturgy will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Caro on Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Dennis Kucharczyk, officiating. The Rite of Committal will be at St. Michaels Catholic Cemetery in Wilmot. Visitation will be at the Collon Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. There will be a Vigil for the deceased on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Catholic Masses.
