Rick Shelito

Rick Shelito, age 55, of Caro, passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2008 at his home. He was born on July 8, 1952 in Bad Axe to the late Frederick and Betty (Lawrie) Shelito. He moved to Caro as an infant and was a Caro High School graduate. Following high school, he eventually went to Florida where he worked laying carpet for approximately twenty years. He then went on to Baltimore where he became employed as an electrical engineer with Baltimore Gas and Electric. Rick then returned to Caro. He enjoyed guns and woodworking and also did numerous drawings. He attended the Caro Church of the Nazarene. He is survived by two sons, Gregory Shelito of Wausau, Wisconsin and Michael Shelito at home; one brother and sister-in-law, Tomas and Pamela Shelito of Caro; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and twin siblings, Dennis and Deborah Shelito. A memorial service will be held at the Caro Church of the Nazarene on Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Paul Mc Nett officiating. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation at the Collon Funeral Home. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday at the time of service.
