Rosie Best of Silverwood, age 80, passed away on Friday, January 24, 2014. She was born November 6, 1933 in Clarksville, Tennessee, the daughter of the late John Thomas and Odee (Brody) Rudolph. She was united in marriage with John T. Best on December 2, 1956 in Detroit. Rosie was a homemaker and enjoyed oil painting. She was a member of the Shay Lake Non-Denominational Christian Church. Rosie is survived by her husband of fifty-seven years, John Best of Silverwood; one daughter, Brenda Joyce Leveille of Texas; two granddaughters, Shawn Leveille and Ashley Leveille, both of Texas; and one great-granddaughter, Candace Middleton. In addition to her parents, Rosie was preceded in death by one grandson, Curtis Best. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 3, 2014 at the Shay Lake Non-Denominational Christian Church in Shay Lake with Rev. Reginald Woolfolk officiating. Burial will be at Middletown Historical Cemetery in Middletown, Kentucky at a later date.
