Susan Newmarch

Susan Newmarch, age 97 years, of Bradenton, Florida, formerly of Caro, passed away on Wednesday, April 4, 2007 in Sarasota, Florida. She was born on December 24, 1909, in Washington, Pennsylvania and married Levi Newmarch in 1939. He preceded her in death in 1983. Susan maintained her family ties in Slovakia and she opened her home to many friends from numerous countries, including Egypt. She enjoyed playing cards, reading, gardening and her many friends. She was a member of the Polish American Club and St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mayville. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by two daughters, Roberta (Robert) Weitz of Caro and Carolyn (Gregory) Sutherland of Bradenton, Florida; two grandchildren, Jennifer Hallock and James Hallock of Caro; one brother, Frank Kapral of Kingston; and six sisters, Mary Kotsch of Kingston, Helen Gerner of Warren, Margaret (John) Wenta of Fostoria, Lee Wolak of Kingston, Irene (George) Wettlaufer of Commerce Township, Joan (George) Klemkowski of Caro. She was preceded in death by four sisters, Rose Ober, Theresa Oliver, Sophie Cook and Virginia Moskal. Funeral Liturgy will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mayville on Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be at the Collon Funeral Home in Caro on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m and on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. for prayers before proceeding to the church for Mass. A Vigil for the Deceased will be held at the funeral home Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. Rite of Committal will be at St. Michaels Catholic Cemetery in Wilmot.
