Timothy Michael Vaughan, age 54 years, of Cadillac and Tavares, Florida, and formerly of Caro, passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2008 at his Florida residence, following a short illness and surrounded by his family. Tim was born on July 16, 1953 in Caro to Chuck and Dorcas (Dorman) Vaughan. He graduated from Caro High School prior to attending Delta College and receiving an Associates Degree. On January 26, 1973 Tim was united in marriage to the former Angela Lewis at the Colling Church of the Nazarene. He and his wife owned and operated the Camp Cadillac Campground in Cadillac. He enjoyed motorcycle restoration and U of M football. He is survived by his wife of thirty-five years, Angela; a son, Patrick Vaughan of Cadillac; a daughter and son-in-law, April and Nathan Powell of Cedar Springs; one grandson, Joshua Vaughan; his parents, Chuck and Dorcas Vaughan of Caro; a brother and sister-in-law, Kim and Linda Vaughan of Caro; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He will be missed terribly by his family and friends. The funeral service will be held at the First Baptist Church of Caro on Saturday, March 29, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Ronald Wigand and Pastor Jerry Wallace co-officiating. Burial will be at Almer Township Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Collon Funeral Home in Caro on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., on Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and at the church on Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Foundation, P.O. Box 57251, Washington D.C. 20037.
