A. Frederick

Arlington Donald Frederick, age 74, passed away suddenly Friday, April 25, 2008 at Caro Community Hospital. A. D. was born August 31, 1933 in Cass City, the son of the late Joe & Levina (Ball) Frederick, and was a lifelong area resident. He wed Maureen Curtis on March 3, 1956 in Cass City and was blessed with fifty-two years of marriage and four children. A. D. was employed for many years by Marlette Coach until its closing when he went to work in maintenance at Caro Community Hospital. He was a member of the Mizpah Missionary Church in Cass City and enjoyed bowling, fishing and tinkering with old cars. In addition to his wife, Maureen, A. D. is survived by four children and their spouses, Mike & Andrea Frederick, Cindy Davidson of Caro, Peggy Edwards and fiance Mike Crandall of Vassar, Troy & Linda Curtis of Cass City; sixteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; brothers-in-law, Dale Curtis & Shirley Nichols of Bad Axe, Scott & Jeanette Curtis of Maryville, Tennessee; sisters-in-law, Marion Frederick of Killeen, Texas, Marsha & Mark Sipes of Vassar, Sharon & Fred Pomeroy of Deford, and many nieces and nephews. A. D. was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond Frederick and sister, Arlene Herr.
