Aaron L. Blankenship, age 25 years, of Caro, died suddenly on Thursday, August 31, 2006 as the result of a motorcycle accident. He was born on September 3, 1980 in Flint and came to Caro when he was eight years of age. He was a Caro High School graduate. Aaron was employed at Wal-Mart as a mechanic. Aaron had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed his friends; but his love was his infant son, Aden Lacey Blankenship and motorcycles. He was a member of the Red Liners Motorcycle Club. Beside his fiancee, Amanda Roberts, and their baby, Aden, Aaron is survived by his parents, Alvin and Rosemary Blankenship of Cass City; his siblings, Angela (Chad) Dewald of Caro, Laura (Noah) Shiel of Caro, Alvin (Theresa) Blankenship of Caro; his nieces and nephews, Molina, Jada, Angel, Isaac and Trevor; as well as his grandparents and several aunts, uncles and cousins. The funeral will be held at the Collon Funeral Home in Caro on Saturday, September 2, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor David Bostrom officiating. Burial will follow in the Indianfields Township Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Collon Funeral Home on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Aaron L. Blankenship discretionary fund, c/o Angela Dewald.
