Ada Grace Kilbourn of Deford, age 89, passed away on Sunday, October 10, 2021 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Ada was born May 12, 1932 in Cass City, the daughter of the late Clarence and Winnifred (Kelley) May. She was united in marriage with Harold J. Kilbourn on August 12, 1950 in Cadillac and he preceded her in death on August 5, 2005. Ada was a homemaker and school bus driver for Cass City Schools. She loved church music and playing and singing in regional churches and for the anchor series on WKYO. Ada was a loving mother to her four children, Lee Kilbourn of Deford, Pam Rudich of Saginaw, Jim Kilbourn and wife, Sherri, of Wolverine, Ron Kilbourn and wife, Holly, of Deford; loving grandmother to eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, with one on the way; one sister, Amy Hall; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Ada was preceded in death by one sister, Millie McClorey. Funeral services will be held at the Novesta Church of Christ in Cass City on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor David Cooper officiating. Burial will follow at the Novesta Township Cemetery. The family will be present to receive friends at the church on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 2:00 p.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the Novesta Church of Christ or the Deford Community Church.
