Agnes Marie Orton

Agnes Marie Orton of Gagetown, age 83, passed away on Friday, October 1, 2021 at her home. Agnes was born November 11, 1937 in Saginaw, the daughter of the late Darrell and Helen (Wiacek) Reynolds. She was a 1955 graduate of Vassar High School and on October 29th of that same year, she was united in marriage with Kenneth F. Orton at her mother's home in Vassar. Agnes enjoyed fishing, couponing, shopping, and going for walks. She loved spending time in her gardens weeding, her dogs and cats, spending time with family, and most importantly, she liked yelling at Amanda Rose. She was a member of the Thumb Area CB Club. Agnes is survived by seven children, April A. Orton, Kenneth Lee & Debbie Orton, Daryl Jeanette & Ronald Seeley, Darrell James & Ella Orton, Thomas Duane Orton, Alva Fredrick Orton, Amanda Rose Orton; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Charlotte Riedel and Darlene Stedry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth F. Orton; two grandsons, Kurt and Nathan; and one great-granddaughter, Lily. Cremation has taken place and a remembrance of life has been held.
