Agnes Paulson

Agnes Paulson, 102, of Caseville, died Sunday, August 27, 2017 at Scheurer Hospital Long Term Care Unit in Pigeon where she had lived for the past 6 years.

Agnes was born at home in Calumet on December 30, 1914 to the late Anton and Mary (Schuette) Rangus. She moved to the Detroit area in her youth. She worked for Terminix as a bookkeeper before moving to Caseville in 1985 to be near her family. She enjoyed quilting, traveling, playing cards and BINGO, dogs and time spent with her family. She received excellent care during the last years of her life from the staff at Scheurer Long Term Care.

She is survived by her daughters Julie Paulson of Winter Garden, Florida and Janice (Pete) Prill of Caseville. She was preceded in death by her parents, seven brothers, two sisters and grandson Mark.

Cremation has taken place. Urn interment will be in Caseville Township Cemetery. Champagne Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements. Memorials may be made to the Thumb Animal Shelter.
