Aileen M. Diller

Aileen M. Diller, age 83, passed away Monday, March 26, 2012 at her home in Bay Port. Aileen was born in Bay Port on June 13, 1928 to the late Arthur G. and Fern M. (Beaver) Henne. She married Clayton V. Diller on February 19, 1949 at the Bay Port United Methodist Church. He passed away on January 12, 2010. Aileen enjoyed working on their farm, sewing, babysitting for her grandchildren, active member of Bay Port United Methodist Church, was church treasurer, member of United Methodist Women and Women's Club.

Aileen is survived by her children: Sue (Dennis) Schweitzer of Bay Port and Keith (Diane) Diller of Galesburg; her siblings: Janet M. Henne of San Diego, California and Donald K. Henne of Saginaw; 2 grandchildren: Chad (Tracy) Schweitzer of Bay Port and Adam Schweitzer of Bay Port; 1 great grandson: Alex Schweitzer; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Aileen is preceaded in death by her husband: Clayton V Diller; her siblings: Geraldine Ballard, Beulah Ballard and Devere A. Henne.

Visitation Wednesday, March 28, 2012 from 5-8pm and Thursday, March 29, 2012 from 2-8pm at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing, MI.

Funeral service Friday, March 30, 2012 at Bay Port United Methodist Church. Visitation will begin at the church at 10am until the time of service at 11am.

Burial will take place at New Bay Port Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the Bay Port United Methodist Church.
