Alan Sellstone

Alan Sellstone of Caro, age 74, passed away on Friday, June 5, 2020 at McLaren - Caro Region. Alan was born November 27, 1945 in Brockton, Massachusetts, the son of the late Hjalmar and Eunice (Cass) Sellstone. Following a unique encounter, he was united in marriage with the former Kathleen Vollmers on September 16, 1972 in Utica, and she survives. Alan was a man of many talents, from creative teaching, to how to love, to fixing a truck. His hobbies included carpentry, restoring automobiles, and building a popcorn wagon for the owner of Lilly Pharmaceuticals. In addition to his wife, Kathleen, he is also survived by one son, Sean Alan Sellstone of Auburn Hills. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Jack Sellstone; and one sister, Joyce. In keeping with Alan's wishes, cremation has taken place and there are no services being planned.
