Alan R. "Yankee" Schooley

Alan R. Schooley "Yankee", age 68, of Bay Port, formerly of North Carolina, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2020 at Covenant (Cooper) Healthcare.

Alan was born in Pontiac on July 9, 1952, to George Schooley  and Colleen (Wurgess) Allred. He was self-employed, working as a journeyman carpenter. He enjoyed being outdoors in nature, hunting, watching the sunset, archery, golfing and working with wood.

Alan is survived by his wife, Denise Chavalier-Schooley; children: Jessica Schooley Winston, Patricia Schooley, Jodi Schooley Fisher, and step son, Jesse Muns; 10 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; brother, Mark (Lori) Schooley; sister, Eileen (Clay) Fahl; and many nieces and nephews.

Alan is preceded in death by his parents, George Schooley  and Colleen Allred, step-father, Al Allred  and  brother, Garth Schooley.

A celebration of his life will be at a later date.
