Albert Edward Hewitt

Albert E. Hewitt,72, of Caseville, died Friday, October 30, 2020 at McLaren Bay Region Hospital in Bay City.

Albert was born October 21, 1948 in Bad Axe to the late Albert Francis and Bernice (Yaroch) Hewitt and grew up in Port Austin.  He worked many odd jobs in the area, including as a farmer.  He had many friends who will remember him for his friendly smile and willingness to help.

Albert is survived by his sister Linda (Harvey) Davis of West Virginia and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his brothers Robert and Dennis, sister Sharon O'Cull, nephew Brian O'Cull and infant nephew Michael Hewitt.

A memorial mass will be 11:00am Friday, November 6th at St. Roch Catholic Church in Caseville with Fr. Robert Pare presiding.  He will be buried in St. Michael Catholic Cemetery in Port Austin.

Memorials in his memory may be made to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish.
