Alberta A. (Buerker) Graf , age 89, passed away peacefully on December 18, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born June 22, 1931 in Pigeon, MI at home. She was the daughter of the late George and Ruth (Pedler) Buerker.
Alberta A. Buerker married Konrad Graf Jr. on October 15, 1955 at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church in Pigeon, MI, while Konrad was on a 15 day leave from the US Army where he was stationed at Ft. Leonard Wood, MO.
Alberta was a 1950 graduate of Arthur Hill High School in Saginaw, MI. After graduation she was united in marriage, just short of almost 65 years, when Konrad preceded his wife in death on April 29, 2020. Alberta worked in Saginaw, MI for Robertson's Dry Cleaners, Bartley's Bakery and Lufkin Rule as an Inspector.
She was a caring and giving person. She enjoyed family genealogy, local history, computer word & card games and enjoyed her husband, children, grandchildren and great granddaughter, Addison.
She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Sebewaing, MI. In the past she has served on the church's Finance Committee, Alpha Delta Sunday School as Secretary and a Communion Steward.
She is survived by her two sons; Donald (Benita Taschner) Graf and David (Carrie Moore) Graf. One daughter; Lynda Graf, all of Sebewaing, MI. Two Grandchildren; Benjamin (Victoria Schmidt) Graf; Lake Orion, MI and Emily (Kevin Johnson) Graf; Fairgrove, MI. One Great Granddaughter: Addison Johnson. One neice, Debra (Buerker) Rock; AuGres, MI and one nephew, Mark Buerker; Broken Arrow, OK and their children. And Special cousin Marcina Lafreniere; Saginaw, MI.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and two of her brothers; Donald W. Buerker and Marvin J. Buerker.
In keeping with Alberta's wishes a private family memorial service will be held at the Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing, MI with Rev. Heather Nowak officiating the service.
She will be buried in Grandlawn Cemetery in Pigeon, Michigan.
