Aldina Blondell, age 82 years, of Brown City passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at Lapeer Regional Hospital. She was born on February 6, 1924 in Unionville and lived in Tuscola County until the mid 60s when she moved to Sanilac and Lapeer counties. The former Aldina Wisenbaugh married Marcell Blondell in April of 1941 in Ohio. He preceded her in death on October 29, 1960. She spent all of her life as a homemaker. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, gardening, reading and recycling. She is survived by three sons, Marcell “Ed” Blondell of Augusta, Kansas, Richard (Beverly) Blondell of Grand Blanc and Donald Blondell of Sandusky; six grandchildren, five great-grand-children; a sister, Clara (Ronald) Vincent of Marlette; a brother, Floyd Wisenbaugh of Owosso; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by the remainder of her siblings; a daughter-in-law; and three grandchildren. The funeral service will be held at the Collon Funeral Home in Caro on Saturday, November 25, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Brenda Wice officiating. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Collon Funeral Home on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Memorials may be made to the Aldina Blondell family discretionary fund, c/o Marcell Blondell.
