Alexandria Katherine Jordan

Alexandria K. Jordan, 68, of Bad Axe, formerly of Detroit, passed away Thursday, January 16, 2025 at Vadavilla Adult Foster Care in Unionville.

Alex was born July 30, 1956 in Detroit to the late Wilson and Patricia (LaRosa) Westerby.  She grew up in Detroit.  In 1991 she moved to the Thumb to raise her family. She enjoyed collectibles, shopping, cats, shoes, the more bling the better. She loved telling stories, listening to music, and dancing.

Alex is survived by her children Thurman (Leslie) Westerby, Pricilla (Jeremy) Tietz, Victoria Fritz, and Dorthy “Dot” (Doug) Armstrong; grandchildren Austin, Bret, Rocky, Gwen, Zach, Madison, Gavin, Kody, Bailey, Kayleigh, Zoe, Cam, Journey and Desirae; great-grandchildren Justin, Scott, Easton, and one yet to be born; sister Rosella Manning; and her special friend Donna.  She was preceded in death by her infant daughter Tonya, the father of three of her children Thurman Belcher.

A memorial service will be 4:00pm Wednesday, January 22nd at the Champagne Funeral Chapel with Rev. Steve Stolarczyk officiating.  Visitation will be 2-4pm Wednesday.
