Alfred M. Johnson

Alfred M. Johnson of Alger, formerly of Cass City, age 84, passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2020 at his home. Alfred was born October 3, 1935 in Saginaw County, the son of the late Osborn and Adelia (Bouck) Johnson. He was united in marriage with the former Muriel Rolston and she preceded him in death. Alfred had been employed as a foreman at U.S. Manufacturing in Bad Axe for many years. He is survived by three daughters and their spouses, Tammy & Donald Ellis of Hudson, Florida, Patricia & Bud Shear of New Port Richey, Florida, Karen Hovis & Randall Scharrer of Aripeka, Florida; fifteen grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mildred Timko of Caro and Elizabeth Abke of California. In addition to his parents and wife, Alfred was preceded in death by one son, Allen Johnson; two infant children, Alfred Johnson Jr. and Alicia Johnson; and one brother, Henry Johnson. In keeping with Alfred's wishes, cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time.
