Alice C. Becker

Alice C. Becker, 90, of Caseville, died Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township.

Alice was born October 25, 1919 in Detroit to the late Frederick and Dorothea Buhr. She married Robert Becker on September 6, 1941. Robert preceded her in death on September 3, 1997.

They retired to Caseville in 1977 from East Detroit. She was a longtime member of St. Roch Catholic Church and the Women’s Society, the Caseville Library Club, as well as a volunteer for the Red Cross blood drive.

Surviving are her twin daughters Kathy Arnoske of Washington Twp. and Marny (Neal) Brown of Oxford; grandchildren Bob Arnoske, Carol (Ken) Malek and Jamie Taylor; great-grandchildren Jessica and Daniel Malek; sister Arline Custer of Caseville.

She was preceded by her daughter Susan Taylor, son-in-law John Arnoske, granddaughter Joanne and her sisters Josephine and Dorothy.

Visitation will be 10:00 am to 1:00 pm Tuesday, December 29th at the Champagne Funeral Chapel of Caseville. Burial will be in St. Roch Cemetery on Monday, January 4, 2010.
