Alice Joan Hadden

Alice Joan Hadden, age 85, passed away, January 9, 2018, at her daughters home in Beulah, MI.

Alice was born February 19, 1932, in Unionville, to Robert and Frances (Schulz) Ewald. Alice was a devoted member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church of Unionville. She enjoyed animals, collecting horse statues, watching old TV shows and movies, listening to music, doing word search puzzles and spending time with family. She worked many years assembling fish hooks.

Alice is survived by her daughters: Gretchen Priess and Amber (Terry) Poston; 6 grandchildren: Megan and Ryan Priess, Heather, Bekah, Chance and Mekenzy Poston; 2 sisters: Audrey Poppy and Kay (Cu) Nguyen; sister-in-law, Gertrude Ewald; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Leeland Ewald; son-in-law, Gary Priess; and a brother-in-law, Richard Poppy.

A memorial service will take place 11am on Friday, January 12, 2018, at St. Peter Lutheran Church (5139 French Rd., Unionville, MI 48767). Visitation will begin at the church from 9am until the time of service at 11am.

Memorial donations may be given to St. Peter's Lutheran Church.
