Alice Marie House

Alice Marie House , age 54, of Unionville, formerly of Bay Port, passed away at her home on Wednesday, December 1, 2021.

Alice was born in Bay Port on December 29, 1966, to Robert and Mary Deming. She graduated from North Huron High School in 1984. She enjoyed crafting, canning, cooking, making cookies and going to garage sales.

Alice is survived by her significant other of 24 years, Rodney Schmitt; children: Chad (Sarah) House and Jerry House; grandson, Hewitt House; siblings: John Deming and Joe Deming; and many nieces and nephews.

Alice is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mary Deming; sister, Mary Bacca; and brother, Thomas Deming.

The visitation and funeral will all be on Monday, December 6, 2021 at Juengel-Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing. Visitation will begin at 10am until the time of service at 1pm. Brad Haist will be officiating. Burial will be at New Bay Port Cemetery.
