Alice M. Pouliot

Alice M. Pouliot of Caro, age 90, passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at the Tuscola County Medical Care Community, surrounded by her loving family. Alice was born October 22, 1929 in Vassar, the daughter of the late Edgar and Esther (Mosher) Streeter and was a graduate of Millington High School Class of 1947. She was united in marriage with Walter Pouliot on May 6, 1950 in Caro, and the couple had celebrated fifty-five years together prior to Walter's death on December 1, 2005. Alice enjoyed gardening, bird watching, painting ceramics and was an avid international traveler. Alice was a fantastic cook, and loved being surrounded by her family, especially in the kitchen. Left to cherish her memory are four children and their spouses, Bill & Donna Pouliot of Holt, Brenda & David Coyer of Caro, Dick & Teri Pouliot of Caro, Annette & Greg LaPratt of North Branch; ten grandchildren and their spouses, Aimee & Dean Buggia, Nicole & Chris Bondsteel, Heather & Simon Powrie, Angela & Mario Torrez, Greg & Megan Coyer, Nelson Pouliot, AnnaLisa Pouliot, Adrienne & Gaurav Chadha, Dustin & Sarah LaPratt and Sterling LaPratt; seventeen great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Alice was preceded in death by one grandson, Travis Pouliot; one brother, Richard Streeter; and one sister, Marjorie Streeter. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 23, 2019 at St. Christopher Parish, Sacred Heart Church in Caro with Rev. Jerzy Dobosz officiating. Burial will follow at Almer Township Cemetery in Caro. The family will be present to receive friends at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and at the church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. There will be a Rosary service Sunday at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
