Alton Petzold

Alton Petzold, age 83, passed away with his family at his side, Friday, January 8, 2010 at Tendercare Health Center in Frankenmuth. He was born November 10, 1926 on the family farm in Arbela Township, the son of the late Oscar & Alma (Bauer) Petzold. Al was a lifelong area resident and member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Millington. For many years, he drove truck for Frutchey Bean Company. Al leaves his family and friends to cherish his memory that include four daughters and their spouses, Bonnie & Dan Riza, Nancy & Buck Colman, Penny Jensen, all of Millington, Kathy & Dennis Middleton of Fostoria; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three brothers, two sisters and their spouses, Wallace & Shirley Petzold, Willard & Carolyn Petzold, Roy & Shirley Petzold, Irene Smith, Elaine & Jim Bickel, all of Millington, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Al was preceded in death by two grandsons, Jeffrey Jensen and Chase Coleman; a brother, Roland Petzold; and one son-in-law, Carvel Jensen.
