Andrew Draschil

Andrew Draschil, age 90, of Owendale, passed away peacefully at Vadavilla AFC Home on Saturday, September 9, 2017.

Andrew was born in Sebewaing on July 28, 1927, to the late Francis and Katherine (Wojtek) Draschil along with a twin sister, Rose. Andrew enjoyed being a lifetime farmer of AND-D Farms, and still hoed sugar beets until his mid 80's. Andrew also enjoyed bowling, ice fishing in Canada, playing cards, watching the Detroit Tigers and Lions, arguing, making horseradish and in his younger years rode a Harley Davison motorcycle.

Andrew is survived by his sister-in-law Alice Draschil and numerous nieces and nephews.

Andrew is preceded in death by his parents, and his siblings: William, Nicholas, Joseph, Frank and John Draschil, Ann Bellan, Kay Topp, Mary Effa, Eva Long, Margaret Cavanaugh and Rose Pallach.

Visitation and funeral services will take place Wednesday, September 13, 2017, at Our Lady of Consolata Catholic Parish – Holy Family site in Sebewaing. Visitation will begin at 9am until time of Mass at 11am.

Burial will take place at Holy Family Cemetery in Sebewaing.

Memorial donations may be given to Owendale Fire Department or Our Lady of Consolata Parish – Holy Family site.
