Angeline Grace Baranski

Angeline Grace Baranski of Owendale, passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at Courtney Manor in Bad Axe. She was born February 17, 1947 in Northville, the daughter of the late Joseph and Sophia (Pokora) Peruski. Angie graduated from Sandusky High School and on February 4, 1967, she married Daniel R. Baranski at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Sandusky. Their marriage was blessed with nearly fifty years and countless memories. Sadly, Daniel passed on September 29, 2016.

Angie was known for being an excellent homemaker and cooking delicious homemade meals, especially her mashed potatoes. She loved listening to old country music and polkas. Angie enjoyed completing word searches and she always had a puzzle she was working on. Her sassy, funny, and loving self is going to be missed.

Angie leaves to cherish her memory, her son & daughter-in-law, Daniel & Phyllis Baranski of Elkton; grandchildren, Alexis Moore of Port Huron, Ashley Baranski of Saginaw, and Aaron Baranski of Elkton; siblings, Tom (Diane) Peruski of Cass City, Rose (Norman) Lamere of Sandusky, and Susan (Robert) Romain of Brooksville, Florida; sister-in-law, Marlene Peruski of Minden City; three godchildren; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Angie was preceded in death by her siblings, Eugene Peruski, Leonard (Judith) Peruski, Glenn Peruski, and Bernice (Duane) Smith; niece, Vanessa Smith.

Angie’s Memorial Mass will be on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Hubert Parish, Sacred Heart Church, in Bad Axe. Fr. Yesu Mulakaleti will officiate with the burial following at Riverside Cemetery in Elkton. The family will be present to receive visitors on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial donations to St. Hubert Parish.
