Angeline Maciosek

Angeline Maciosek, 90, of Lake Township died Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at Courtney Manor in Bad Axe with her daughter at her side.

She was born March 7, 1920 in Morgantown, West Virginia to the late Rocco and Elizabeth (Tropea) Sorace.

On August 5, 1944 she was united in marriage to James G. Maciosek in Detroit. He preceded her in death in October of 1987. They have been coming to the Caseville area since the 1940's and purchased a cottage in Lake Twp in 1972 when they retired.

Angeline was an avid Detroit Tiger, Red Wing and Pistons sports fan and watched them faithfully. She also enjoyed word searches, music, Bingo, and old movies.

She is survived by her daughter Barbara Maciosek of Lake Twp; uncle Leonard Tropea; and aunts Virginia Jessup and Margaret Carter.

A memorial service will 12:00 Noon Saturday, September 25th at St. John Episcopal Church, Sand Point.
