Angelita C. Martinez

Angelita C. Martinez, age 92, of Sebewaing, went to be with her Lord on Monday morning, February 17, 2014, in the comforts of her own home.

She was born March 13, 1921 in Castroville, Texas, daughter of the late Timotheo and Isidra (Vasquez) Cuellar. She married Fabian Martinez January 1940 at a catholic church in Castroville, TX.

She is survived by her children: Aurello (Mary) Martinez of Sebewaing, Albert Martinez of Sebewaing, Dora (Richard) Botello of Castroville, TX, Angelita (Carlos) Torres of Vassar, Irene Martinez (Fritz Burell) of Sebewaing, Martha (Greg) Arebelo of Unionville, Sylvia (Frank) Vargas of Sebewaing, and Fabian (Pam) Martinez, Jr. of Flint; 49 grandchildren; 77 great grandchildren; 17 great great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Fabian Martinez; son, Odon Martinez; daught-in-law, Angie Martinez.

Visitation will be at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home, in Sebewaing, on Thursday, February 20, 2014 from 4-8pm and Friday, February 21, 2014 from 1-8pm with a 6:30pm Remembrance Service.

The funeral service will be Saturday, February 22, 2014 at the Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 10am until the time of service at 11am.

Burial will take place at Wisner Township Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be given to the family.
