Anita Faye Gehringer

Anita Faye Gehringer of Flushing, age 52, died Saturday, April 9, 2011 at her home.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, April 14, 2011 at Pigeon River Mennonite Church, 7120 Geiger Rd., Pigeon, Michigan 48755. Pastor Alvin Yoder will officiate. Burial will follow at Pigeon River Mennonite Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Wednesday at Rossell Funeral Home, 307 E. Main, Flushing, Michigan 48433, and 10 a.m. until the time of the service Thursday at the Pigeon River Mennonite Church.

Anita was born in Pigeon, Michigan on September 11, 1959, the daughter of George and Jewel (Dutcher) Swartzendruber. Anita was employed at Richfield Industries for over the past 14 years. She enjoyed her pets and liked watching and feeding birds. Anita also enjoyed gardening and loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by: son, Kyle Gehringer; father, George Swartzendruber; sister, Judy and husband Larry Stutzman; brothers, Ralph and wife Debra Swartzendruber, Paul and wife Lori Swartzendruber; friend of the family, Rex Church and several nieces and nephews. Anita was preceded in death by her mother, Jewel and her grandparents.
