Ann Findlay

Ann E. Findlay, age 81, of Caro passed away on Friday, July 10, 2009 at the Tuscola County Medical Care Facility. She was born on November 24, 1927 in Caro to the late Adam and Anna (Skicki) Kaplan. Ann attended school in Caro. The former Ann Kaplan married Raymond Alfred Findlay in Caro, and he has preceded her in death. She was employed as an assembler at Caro Plastics until her retirement in the early 1990s. Ann enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren, as well as doing crossword puzzles and going to garage sales. She is survived by her children, Sue (Tom) Nowakowski of Caro and Rita (Damian) Wrobel of Caro; four grandchildren, Tom Nowakowski, Jr. of Caro, Eric (Molly) Nowakowski of Lakeland, Florida, Greg (Christine) Wrobel of Bluffton, South Carolina and Elissa Wrobel of Caro; one great-grandson, Randy Nowakowski; one sister, Gertrude Asperger of Saginaw; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Raymond Alfred Findlay, Jr.; and the remainder of her siblings and their spouses. The funeral service will be held at the Collon Funeral Home in Caro on Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. with her son-in-law, Rev. Damian Wrobel, officiating. Burial will be at Ellington Township Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Collon Funeral Home on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 10:00 a.m. Memorials may be made to the Tuscola County Medical Care Facility.
