ANN MARIE SCHUETTE
1914 - 2006

Ann M. Schuette, age 92, of Pigeon died Monday morning, July 17, at Scheurer Hospital, Pigeon
She was born February 22, 1914 at the home of her parents the late Peter and Elizabeth (Simon) Kumaus in Oliver Twp.
On August 26, 1933, she was united in marriage to Herman F. Schuette at St Paul Lutheran Church, Linkville. They lived and farmed in Oliver Twp all their married life. Herman preceded her in death June 1, 1969.
Ann enjoyed quilting and crocheting, embroidering and needlework. She also enjoyed gardening and crossword puzzles.
She was a long time member of Cross Lutheran Church, Pigeon.
Surviving are four children, Shirley (Jim) Dutcher of Clinton Twp., Janet (Ray) Konen of Grand Rapids, Carol (Jim) Bridges of Midland and Robert (Joan) Schuette of Bay City; nine grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren and three sisters-in-law, Verna Hedlund of Sebewaing, Marion Kumaus of Pigeon and Marge Kumaus. Preceding her in death were three sisters and four brothers, Catherine Bauer, Helen Larson, Alice Bossence, Fred Kumaus, Herb Kumaus, Carl Kumaus and Ed Kumaus.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Thursday, July 20, at Cross Lutheran Church, Pigeon with burial in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at the Champagne Funeral Chapel, Elkton from 2 to 9 PM Wednesday and at the church after 10 AM Thursday.
