Anna Meta Gertrude House

Anna M. House, 90, of Pigeon, passed away Thursday, June 13, 2024 at Courtney Manor in Bad Axe.

Anna was born at home in McKinley Twp on January 14, 1934 to the late Ferdinand and Meta (Hoge) Duever.  She graduated from Pigeon High School.  She married Wayne House on October 22, 1954; he preceded her in death June 10, 2001.

Anna raised her family and was a care-giver to her parents.  She was a member of Cross Lutheran Church.  She enjoyed quilting and playing solitaire.

Anna is survived by her children John of Bay Port, Carl (Deb) of Livonia, and Beth Aldridge of Pigeon; grandchildren Matthew, Caitie, and Emily.  She was preceded in death by her sister Louise Duever, her brother Otto Duever and son-in-law Ron Aldridge.

Funeral services will be at 11:00am Monday, June 17th at the Champagne Funeral Chapel with Rev. Karen Bouverette officiating.  Burial will be in Cross Lutheran Cemetery.  Visitation will begin at 10:00am Monday at the funeral home.
