Anna Sonderhouse

Anna Sonderhouse, age 84, passed away on Monday, April 23, 2007 at Health Source in Saginaw, following a lingering illness. Anna was born March 23, 1923 in Sebewaing, the daughter of the late Max & Anna (Beljung) Marker. She moved with her parents to the Colwood area as a young girl. She was married to John LaGina in 1949. Later she was married to John Sonderhouse in 1973. He preceded her in death in 2001. For over twenty years, Anna was employed at the Caro Regional Center, retiring in 1990. She was an active member of St. Agatha Catholic Church in Gagetown. For many years, she enjoyed bowling, and was an active bowler up to seven years ago. Anna is survived by three brothers, five sisters and their spouses, Joseph & Martha Marker of Riverview, Eva Proulx of Saginaw, Elizabeth & Walter Gasinski of Tucson, AZ, Delores & Emil Ferworn of Florida, Karl & Madeline Marker of Saginaw, John Marker of Taylor, Marion Marker of Saginaw, Theresa & Michael Markva of Saginaw and many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, Anna was preceded in death by four brothers, Max, Nicholas, Michael and Peter Marker.
