Annette L. Brown

Annette Brown, age 74, of Elkton died Wednesday morning, April 6, at St. Mary's Medical Center, Saginaw.
She was born July 8, 1930 in Bay City to the late Frank and Anne (Jablonski) Prybiske and moved to Elkton as a little girl.
On May 10 1952, she was united in marriage to Charles Brown at St. Felix Catholic Church, Pinnebog. Charlie preceded her in death, December 29, 1994.
Annette had been employed at the Elkton Post Office for almost 40 years retiring in 1993.
She was a member of St Francis Borgia Catholic Church and Altar Society. Annette and Charlie loved to travel the roads, going to auctions to buy antiques and collectibles, frogs were her favorite, she continued this tradition even after Charlie's passing. Annette was a very caring and thoughtful person, always trying to help someone any little or big way that she could, by it giving them a ride, clipping some thing from the paper or just checking up on you to make sure you were OK.
Surviving are three children, Betsy Brown of Elkton, Beverly Brown of Saginaw and Jay Brown of Elkton; her daughter-in-law, Gail Brown of Elkton; two grandchildren, Chris Harder of Adrian and Lindsie Brown of Elkton;her great grandson, Zachary; a niece, Anna (Rodney) Gombar and children, Jake and Mike of Holly and a very dear friend, Millie Dunn of Elkton. Also surviving are her grand kitties and doggies, her birdies and the dinosaur.
Preceding her in death were her son, Jim; a sister, Genevieve Widman and two brothers, Jim and Bill Widman.
A funeral mass will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday, April 9, at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church, Pigeon. Rev. Fr. John Wies and Sr. Theresa Fox will officiate with burial in Riverside Cemetery, Elkton.

A parish scripture service will be conducted 7:00 PM Friday at the Champagne Funeral Chapel of Elkton where friends may call from 2 to 9 PM Friday.
Memorials may be given to the church or the food pantry.
