Anthony "Tony" C. Enderle

Anthony "Tony" C. Enderle , age 80, of Owendale, passed away on July 10, 2022, from a month-long battle with pancreatic cancer.

Tony was born December 8, 1941, to Anton and Mary (Pavlichek) Enderle of Owendale. He was a 1959 graduate of Owendale-Gagetown Schools, where he was a member of the basketball and football teams, FFA and band. He graduated and continued his farming education at Michigan State University. Tony enjoyed deer hunting and playing cards.

On June 29, 1963, he married his high school sweetheart, Patricia Errer, and they lived on the family farm where they raised their five children: Julie (Dan) Warack of Gagetown, Craig (Amy) Enderle of Owendale, Marcy (Mark) Thomas of Springboro, Ohio, Cindy (Dave) Munday of Saline, and Stacy (John) Lubeski of Shelby Township. He taught his children the value of hard work and respecting others.

Tony loved spending time with his eight grandchildren: Carli Warack, Kyle (Kylie) Thomas, Jacob Warack, Conner Thomas, Brendan Munday, Julia Munday, Carter Lubeski, and Easton Lubeski.

Tony was a loving brother to his sister Janet Enderle, brother Robert Enderle and brother-in-law Mike Catania, and is survived by many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Stella and Carl Errer; his sisters, Mary Ann Grasel, Theresa Catania and Eleanor Hodges; brother-in-law Bob Grasel; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Judi and Ron Reinhardt; and sister-in-law Pat Sabin Enderle.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

Memorial donations may be given to Owendale Fire Department, Owendale Lion's Club or Compassus Hospice in Cass City.
