Anthony Joseph Kanyak Sr.

Anthony J. Kanyak Sr., 66, of Caseville, went home to be with the Lord peacefully Friday, June 23, 2023 at home on his family farm.

Tony was born April 10, 1957 in Pigeon to Sylvia (Cilc) and the late Donald Kanyak Sr.  He attended Laker Schools where he participated in FFA.  He was a lifelong farmer.  He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and the NRA.  He enjoyed hunting, yardwork, fast cars, working on his equipment in his shed and his special cat, Kitty.

Tony is survived by his mother Sylvia; children Kelly (Warren) Dix of Clinton Twp, Bryon of Caseville, Tony Jr (Stacie Dorsch) of Caseville, and Darien of Caseville; grandchildren Corey, Aaron, Skylar, Ellie, Max, Taylor, Alex, and Skylar; siblings Cindy, Judy, Mary “Bebo,” and Steve (Nicole); special niece Takota; and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his father, brothers Ken and Don Jr., and sister Marie.

A memorial service will be 11:00am Wednesday, June 28 at Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Goforth officiating followed by a luncheon in the church hall.  Champagne Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
