Anthony William Lipiec

Anthony W. Lipiec, 74, of Caseville, died Saturday, September 9, 2017 at McLaren Bay Region Hospital in Bay City.

Tony was born May 16, 1943 in Hamtramck to the late Anthony and Genevieve (Kosikowski) Lipiec. He graduated from Detroit’s Pershing High School in 1963. He worked as a truck drive. Tony moved to Caseville in 1990. He was a member and former trustee at the Caseville Eagles, Caseville Retirement Club, and the Caro Moose. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and taking senior trips.

He is survived by his children Michael (Jen) Weber of Wisconsin, Michele (Scott) Abbe of Hope and Christy Grumelot of Midland; 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; and sisters Barbara Lerchenfeld and Gwen Ploe, both of Caseville. He was preceded in death by his daughter Kimberly.

A memorial service will be at Noon Saturday, September 16th at the Caseville Eagles Club. Cremation arrangements are being handled by the Champagne Funeral Chapel.
