Anthony Joseph "Tony" Matuszak

Anthony "Tony" Joseph Matuszak of Unionville, age 77, passed away on the morning of Sunday, June 18, 2023 at his home, with his family by his side. He was born on July 6, 1945 at home in Unionville, the son of the late Stanley and Genevieve (Cianek) Matuszak. He graduated from Cass City high school with the class of 1963 and went on to work as a supervisor for Grede Foundry. Anthony also worked on the family farm, a job he truly enjoyed. He was a parishioner of St. Agatha Catholic Church in Gagetown. Anthony loved to be out on the water, sitting on his houseboat, and with his family. Anthony leaves to cherish his memory, his sons, Lance Matuszak, Eric (Rebecca) Matuszak, and Theron (Xena) Matuszak; fourteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; siblings, John Matuszak, Elaine Bates, and Margaret Davidson; several nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to his parents, Anthony was preceded in death by sons, Justin and Jason Matuszak; daughter-in-law, Melissa Matuszak; brother, Mark Matuszak. In keeping with Anthony's wishes, cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time.
