Anthony Vargo

Anthony Vargo of Caro, age 37, passed away in his sleep on Saturday, July 28, 2018 in Harrison. Anthony was born October 28, 1980 in Saginaw, the son of the late Fraser and Wanda (Habdas) Vargo. He was a lifelong resident of Caro and a graduate of Caro High School. For nearly two decades, he was employed with the Skerbeck Family Carnival, and very much looked forward to the work season. He was a truck driver between events and a game operator on site. Anthony was a member of St. Christopher Parish, Sacred Heart Church in Caro. In addition to the enjoyment he gleaned from his job, he thoroughly enjoyed time spent with family, especially his nieces and nephews. Anthony was a gamer and spent hours playing video games. He is survived by three brothers and their significant others, Allen Vargo & Jerri Turner of Caro, Andrew Vargo & Amanda Kerkau of Caro, and Alex Vargo & Kyrsti Doktor of Clarkston; nieces and nephews, Tabitha, Dalion, Cassandra, Nevae, Devin, Maryjane and Jazmine; great-grand-niece and grand-nephew, Sophie and Jonathon; aunts and uncles, Stanley & Deborah Habdas, Thaddeus & Alice Habdas, Ray Vargo and Stanley Vargo; as well as several cousins. In addition to his parents, Anthony was preceded in death by two infant siblings, Leland and Theresa. A memorial service will be held at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Chris Taylor officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Caro.
