Anthony "Tony" Josh Windham

Anthony "Tony" Josh Windham of Mayville, age 55, passed away on Monday, June 19, 2023 at Hurley Medical Center in Flint. He was born August 11, 1967 in Highland Park, the son of James and Delores (Anderson) Windham. Tony graduated from Detroit Central High School with the class of 1986. He was a caregiver at group homes, volunteered as a playground and lunch aid, and did maintenance for senior citizens. Tony had been a basketball coach and was known as a few mascots including Willie the Wildcat and the Easter Bunny. He loved all sports and was an avid University of Michigan fan and the Detroit Lions, no matter how many times they let him down. Tony enjoyed fishing and you could always find him "bumping his gums" with anyone who wanted to talk. He never met a stranger and loved to help any way he could. Tony's bright smile and love will be missed dearly.
