Arlene H. Anderson, 94, of Grant Township near Elkton, passed away Sunday, November 13, 2022 surrounded by family.
Arlene was born September 1, 1928 in Oliver Twp to the late Herbert and Velma (Haley) Huff. She resided in Grant Twp most of her life.
On November 14, 1952 she married Robert M. Anderson of Oliver Twp at the Baptist Parsonage in Harbor Beach. After celebrating 63 years of marriage, Robert preceded her in death on July 8, 2016. Arlene enjoyed playing the dulcimer, crocheting, canning and antiques. She was an avid reader up to her final days. Education was very important to her, and she saw to it that her children all received a college education.
Surviving are her son Dennis (Joyce) Anderson of Cass City; daughters Lee Ann Anderson of Caro and Linda (Gary) Fini of Caro; five grandchildren, Jeff and Janelle Anderson, Alyssa Smith, Morgan Fini and Mallory (Garrett) Rockwell; two great-grandsons Nolan and Ethan Smith; one great-granddaughter, Layla Smith; sister Doris Ross of Caseville and several nieces and nephews.
