Arlene Heinlein

Arlene Heinlein of Caro, age 88, passed away on Monday, December 21, 2020 at the Tuscola County Medical Care Community in Caro. Arlene was born June 6, 1932 in Tawas, the daughter of the late Charles and Charlotte (Brown) Monroe. She was united in marriage with Eugene Heinlein on December 15, 1951 in Richville and he preceded her in death on December 5, 2006. Arlene was employed as an attendant nurse at the Caro Regional Center for several years until her retirement. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, traveling, and feeding and watching birds. Arlene is survived by three sons and their spouses, Dale & Daisy Heinlein of New Hope, Alabama, Lee & Renee Heinlein of Reese, Dean Heinlein of Ontario, California; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, with two more on the way; one sister, Vicky Rosenberry of Lake City; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Arlene was preceded in death by three brothers, Delbert Monroe, Donald Monroe, and Russell Monroe; three sisters, Leona Cook, Ruth Bragg, and Norma Hack; and daughter-in-law, Veronica Heinlein. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 27, 2020 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Caro with Pastor Cameron Steele officiating. In keeping with Arlene's wishes, cremation will follow the service. The family will be present to receive friends at the church on Sunday from 2:30 p.m. until the time of service at 4:00 p.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
